Polina Gazeeva is a rising young artist who explores personal motifs through the imagery of bodies. She brings a very figurative and emotionally charged approach to the canvas. Her works focus on inner turmoil, often depicting distorted female bodies with exaggerated and/or mutilated body parts. Her specific way of painting the figures amazes, and at the same time provokes contradictory feelings and grappling with the somber themes of life and the relationship between the self and the body.
